The production area, in fact, is that of Gressan, a few steps from our cellar. A wine that makes 80% in steel and a 20% of third passage “tonneau”. A product with the typical characteristics of youth but with a noble, round, enveloping ambition.
Gamay was not scheduled, it was not on the wish list from the beginning. In the course of work, an opportunity was born to honor some fantastic vineyards near our home. And here we are with a Gamay different from the ones you have certainly tasted in Valle d'Aosta.
Gamay is a very productive variety, it can even reach 4 bunches per plant. As you well know, our rule implies an important thinning, to make quality we must make a meticulous selection in the plant.
You will know a Gamay different from the usual "Gamay Valdostani", not only fruity and fresh but also structure and envelopment. It can accompany whole dinners, including important dishes of succulent meat.
