Aperol was created in 1919 in Padova following an idea of the Brothers Barbieri company. The novelty lies in offering an aperitif with a only 11 degree alcohol content. Aperol is made according to a secret recipe containing bitter orangers, cinchona, gentian, rhubarb and other herbs and roots.

The limoncello, or liqueur of Sorrento, is obtained from the infusion of the peels of lemon in alcohol. Only natural lemons from Sorrento are used to produce this liqueur.
