Nero d'Avola from Cusumano

Typical high quality Sicilian wine - Nero d'Avola. It is a traditional red wine made from the most diffused grapevines of Sicily. The wine is famous all around the world for its high quality red grapes, from which other not less famous full-bodied and intensive wines are produced. Nero d'Avola is certified as I.G.T. wine, standing for TGI (Typical Geographical Indication).

Manual, in the first ten days of September

VINIFICATION
De-stemming, cold maceration of the skins
for two days at 5°C, fermentation
at 26°-28° with frequent re-circulation and
removal of the must. Malolactic fermentation
in stainless steel, and a period in contact with
the fine lees of at least five months.
Successive fining in the bottle.
