REFINEMENT
The minimum refinement takes 12 months in bottle.
TASTING
The flavour is intense, fine, persistent and fruity with black fruits (candied plum, ripe violets and liquorice), spices, sweet tobacco, cloves and cinnamon notes. The taste is round and mellow, then is scented and with a pleasing acidity. The end is spiced covered by a savoury fruit.
MATCHES
It’s ideal with roast or stewed red meat, game or ripe cheese.
