Il Tenero - Soft Nougat

Soft torrone contains 50% of Piedmont hazelnuts. This delicacy is consumed all year round, and in particular, during Christmas. It can be eaten alone, cut into scales or added into the recipes of many sweet delicacies, for example, a confectioner's pastry cream, whipped cream, stuffed cakes, ice cream and cream cooked in bain-marie.

Honey, whipped egg white, sugar and many hazelnuts. First of all, hazelnuts are roasted and afterwards the main ingredients are mixed all together, following a precise order and timetable, and slowly cooked in 'bagno maria'.
Once the paste becomes of the right consistency, hazelnuts are added and mixed thoroughly until perfectly amalgamated. Finally, the mixture is placed into apporpriate forms.
