Cooked Prosciutto Ham
Cooked prosciutto ham is produced from boneless pork legs which are salted and cooked. The ham colour is light pink with a thin line of fat arround the ham. The product has a rich and delicate taste.
Cooked prosciutto ham is cooked in water or steam ovens; therefore, there are many different types of cooked ham on sale.
Differently from the raw prosciutto ham, the cooked ham is easily digested, it contains less salt. Moreover, it is rich with iron, zinc and mineral salts.
