The cheese is pressed, semi-fat and semi-hard, produced from cow's milk with, a small dose of sheep's and/or goat's milk added.

This cheese is produced in three varieties: "soft," "hard" and "d'Alpeggio" (alpine).

Bra is cylindrical in shape and produced throughout the provinces of Cuneo and Turin.

Bra cheese must be kept in a refrigerator in the warmer compartments and possibly wrapped in its purchase paper to safeguard its freshness and taste.
