Blanc de Morgex

The territory of the municipalities of Morgex and La Salle

 

Yellow with shining greenish notes, very transparent.

 

Intense, pure, pleasant and ressembling the bouquet of fruits such as pineapple, banana, lemon, almonds, melon, pear, peach and grapefruit.

 

The palate feels the same as the nose - a fresh, well balanced and pleasant wine. The aftertaste is persistent with notes of lemon, peach and pear.

 

Morgex is the area, located just to the south of Mont Blanc in the region of Valle d'Aosta, Italy. It is the highest area in Italy, where grapes are cultivated at about 1200 metres of altitude. This unique Alpine wine area produces bright, medium to high acidity floral wines. Total area production is about 15,000 bottles a year.
